Assegai Survival Systems origin’s began in 2012 when the founder, David Jones retired from the United States Army. Originally, David wanted to establish a training program for missionaries, government employees and business people traveling to underdeveloped parts of the world; to
prepare them for working and operating in dangerous and austere environments. Upon his return from a deployment to East Africa, and subsequent retirement, David set out laying the ground work for Assegai Survival Systems, but life took odd twists and turns, and Assegai Survival Systems was placed on a “shelf” for a decade.
 

In 2022, David closed a service business he had established and turned his attention full time into developing a more realistic business model for Assegai Survival Systems. David’s love of the outdoors, military training and firearms became the catalyst for Assegai Survival Systems.

 

World events, the economy, political upheaval in the United States, COVID 19, environmental
concerns and illegal migration into the United States and the threat to the stability of the United States as a whole; created a new sense of urgency for David. With his belief in the United States of America, his commitment to the oath he swore to protect and defend the people and the Constitution of the United States of America, David developed the current model of Assegai Survival Systems. The mission of Assegai Survival Systems is to empower our clients and the Armed Citizen Patriot with the knowledge, skill sets, and gear necessary to Stay off the X. So, what is the X? The X is the point on the ground where all concentrated firepower is directed on an individual or a group in what is called an ambush. In order to survive, the individual or group must get off the X through violence of action and or escape and evasion.

 

Assegai Survival System has been established to provide the paying client with the equipment, knowledge and confidence needed to Stay off the X.
